Born in Hong Kong, I received a Bachelor Degree of
Arts (Economic major and Publishing minor) from
Simon Fraser University in 2004, and a Bachelor Degree of Design (Industrial Design major) from
Emily Carr University of Art + Designin in 2008. I worked part-time as a freelance graphic designer
and opened my own art studio, teaching young children art and craft.
Many of my projects have included working as part of a team to create innovative solutions to design problems on deadline. I’ve covered the elements of branding and design from concept to completion. My team conducted market research, color studies, ergonomic studies, created sketches, branding, pink and balsa foam models, rendered models using Solidworks, Rhino and XSI, and presentation boards using Illustrator and Photoshop. Like most "just-graduated" students, my short-term goal is to get employed in a design company and continue working on design projects that are interesting and satisfying. My long-term goal is to have my own design brand that produces eco-friendly pet products and furniture. |
